This isn't a standard massage. This is a clinical evaluation combined with hands-on treatment and evidence-based rehabilitation strategies.

  • Joint mobilisation and stretching and/or muscle energy techniques

  • Introduction to key rehabilitation exercises you'll continue at home

Why Me?

Let me be straight with you: I've sat where you're sitting. I know what it's like to feel debilitated by injury, frustrated by practitioners who don't get it, and unsure if you'll ever feel normal again. That experience drove me to become the kind of therapist I needed when I was injured—someone who combines clinical expertise with real-world understanding of what chronic pain actually does to you.

My Background:

  • Former state-level rugby player who experienced firsthand what chronic injury and pain does to your body - and your mindset

  • Trained remedial massage therapist specialising in sports injuries, chronic pain, and rehabilitation

  • 11+ years of clinical experience working with athletes, tradies, surfers, and active people dealing with persistent pain

  • I combine hands-on treatment with evidence-based rehab because I know that real recovery requires both

What Makes This Different:

Because I've lived through chronic injury myself, I recognise the pattern immediately. The most common thing I hear? "I've seen other practitioners - they did some massage or dry needling and gave me some stretches, but nothing really stuck."

Here's why that doesn't create lasting change: massage and stretching are passive treatments. They feel good in the moment, but you can't fix a disc bulge, rebuild core stability, or retrain dysfunctional movement patterns with passive treatment alone. Your body needs to actively learn new ways of moving and build the strength to support itself.

The research is clear—the best outcomes come from combining hands-on treatment with progressive strengthening and movement retraining. That means addressing muscle imbalances, under-active muscles, stability issues, compensatory patterns, and poor movement control.

I do both in every session: manual therapy to address pain and tissue restrictions, plus rehabilitation to fix what's actually causing the problem. That's how you get out of the chronic pain loop.
